Nothing, all excellent.

Attention to detail was spot-on. Lovely grounds with a delightful frog grotto, swimming pool, and nice quality deck chairs. Plenty of space and quiet to settle down with a book, relax, and get away from it all!
Our only complaint is that the cold breakfast buffet grew rather tiresome after four mornings of the same offerings. Eggs, if only soft boiled, would be a nice addition. On the other hand, we really appreciated the abundance of fresh squeezed orange juice that was always on offer.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely b&b. I came with the intention of staying just one night and ended up staying for 4. I came in the middle of winter, so it was nice and quiet - exactly the cozy, relaxing environment I was looking for in the midst of a long journey. They family that runs the place, and their staff, are very kind and helpful. The breakfast each morning is great, you have your own kitchen to make meals if you like, they offer free wifi, town is an easy 10 minute walk away, and Tavira is lovely. This old farmhouse is a hidden gem!

This old farmhouse and buildings which has been converted into individual studio rooms and apartments is fabulous, an oasis on the edge of Tavira. This is not a hotel, it is a B&B with a difference. beautiful gardens, rustic rooms, plenty of space in the garden for guest to find a quiet spot to sunbathe or read a book. a small pool that does its job ( cools you down) you cannot do lengths in it!. Dont be put off if you read any negative remarks about quinta do caracol, if you want traditional accommodation, and a base for the area, this fits the bill. 9.5 out of 10. it loses 0.5 because it is surrounded by drab buildings but you cannot see them, its so beautiful inside you would'nt notice anyway.

A beautiful oasis on the edge of the town with lovely gardens. Each house has a small patio area and the kitchens are well equipped. Very nice staff. Spotlessly clean. 5 minutes from the train station so very convenient for accessing nearby towns on the Algarve
The road noise is a bit obtrusive. It would be a good idea to try to build up the hedges around the perimeter as a barrier against the traffic

The accommodation was absolutely charming, both inside and out. The two bedroom apartment was perfect for our group of friends. We loved the traditional Portuguese style and the attention to detail. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals, and the dining room/living room space was comfortable and spacious. The outer property had plenty of lovely spots to relax and enjoy the fresh air. The breakfast provided a great variety of options and we enjoyed starting our mornings by the crackling fire. The location was ideal, with shops, sights, and restaurants just a short walk away.
One drawback was the noise from the surrounding traffic at peak hours, which did disrupt the tranquility a bit. However, this was easily outweighed by all the positive aspects of our stay.

The property has beautiful gardens, a pool, and lovely sitting areas. the rooms are like apartments, with a separate living room/kitchen area. the walls are thick and there are homey touches. Breakfast is great with fresh squeezed orange juice. the location is walking distance to the river and old town.
Felt like family, nothing to complain about.
